Comprehensive Community Development Project with BAIF
Objective: Generation of livelihood and self-employment generating opportunities and thereby uplifting the economic status in rural habitats in 4 command districts.
Project cost: 20.29 Cr Target beneficiaries: 8000 families
Scope of work: Cattle development, Goat development, Poultry, Fodder development, Agro-Horti development, Awareness creation and capacity building
Present status: Cattle health camp in Angul and Sambalpur cluster. Village meetings taken in form of FGDs for initial introduction, ice breaking and rapport building. Baseline data collection done. Promotion activities started in all clusters with sanitary pads, educational materials and floor mats distribution in schools. Preparation for Livestock development centre is concluded. Next phase will start with conclusion of baseline data and implementation of component activities as WADI, agriculture and health etc.
