Activities
    • Augmentation of Network Infrastructure in MCL Command Area for secure and effective connectivity which is implementation of ERP, access to E-Office and other Office Applications.
    • Ensure live updation of locations of Coal Carrying Tippers through Vehicle Tracking System and prevent Geofence Violations through a real time alert system.
    • Provide Realtime Surveillance of Vulnerable Points in MCL Command Area through effective installation of CCTV at strategic locations.
    • Providing a Centralized Viewing of the Camera feed and VTS System at Control Rooms of MCL HQ and Areas.
    • Management of Call Centre Services which manages all complaints related to employee quarters and ensures early resolution of the issues.
    • Network Operations Centre (NOC) for 24x7 monitoring of the Network Infrastructure ensures in maintaining more than 99.9% availability overall.
    • Implementation of Aadhar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) in MCL Command Area. Management of the Biometric Attendance Portal.
    • Effective implementation of Conferencing facilities in online mode by augmenting the Audio-Video facilities in MCL Command Area.
    • Providing Cloud Based VC Platform with 24x7 availability for conducting multiple meetings throughout the day in online mode.
    • Procurement / Acquiring latest technology hardware and software (Centralized items)
    • Procurement of computer consumables and other decentralized items
    • Conclusion of AMC Contracts with various service providers for maintenance of hardware and software
    • Coordination with Service Engineers for attending breakdown / maintenance of hardware
    • Coordination with Areas, providing necessary technical support

Implementation of IP Exchange in MCL - Providing Telephone Connectivity throughout MCL Command along with 24x7 operators for facilitating seamless communication- resulting in significant cost reduction of laying of telephone cables as the same is being done through Cloud Network Infrastructure. 1st Subsidiary to establish inter-subsidiary connectivity in Coal India Ltd.

Facilitating interview through Video Conference for appointment of doctors, appointment of advisors etc. - resulting in significant cost savings related to travelling and other arrangements. 1st Subsidiary to facilitate the interview of doctors through online mode.

Implementation of new Vehicle Tracking System to check Geofence violations, route deviations and reduce pilferage of coal.

Facilitating numerous Video Conferencing Sessions during Covid and thereafter including Ministry meetings, Coordination Meetings, Interviews, Virtual inaugurations, seminars, trainings etc. - resulting in significant cost reduction due to reduction in meeting related arrangements, travelling and other related expenses.

Facilitating smooth implementation of ERP by providing data connectivity even in the most remote locations of MCL. Award of Contract to M/s Railtel and implementation of work for connectivity at 284 nodes in MCL Command Area. - resulting in PAN MCL implementation of ERP. All areas of MCL are successfully running the ERP Application without any issue of network related speed/latency. 1st subsidiary to establish 24x7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) as per DPR of ERP.

Setting up of Video Conferencing System in Claim Commission Office for early disposal of pending cases.

Setting up of Video Conferencing Rooms across MCL Areas with reliable internet connectivity.

Desktop VC solution and internet provided to all HODs and key persons in MCL for seamless VC Connectivity.
